When we all thought that the COVID19 nightmare was over, the recent news in China again scares all of us. The Russia and Ukraine war caused financial havoc and still is threatening to initiate recession in global markets. And the dreaded inflation is still out of control in most of the world’s countries.
There is no end to fearful negative news in the media these days.
But, hope is what motivates us and makes us move forward. So, shall we look at some positive trends in the coming Happy New Year 2023?
Is it the end of ICE (internal combustion engine) age? Not quite yet though. Pre COVID automotive sales of pure electric vehicles was just a tiny under 5%. But, in Happy New Year 2023, it’s going to hit double digits - to possibly 10%. What a spectacular achievement by both, the traditional and all new OEMs!
The two near sci-fi movie techs Autonomous Vehicles and flying cars forecast for this decade seems to be a distant dream, although the research and development is still on top gear.
Been coming across fancy acronyms like AI and IoT, etc? You are not alone. Technologies that are going to rewrite our imagination of how things work and/or make us work.
